It is better to allow the community to have a look at the issues, utube inline citations are not recommended, I recommend simply allowing the community to have a look at it and see what they comment, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 18:51, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life

[edit]

On the afternoon of 8th December, 2009, Caruana Galizia's husband Peter, 54, lodged a report at Mosta police station, claiming to have been the victim of physical abuse at the hands of his wife at their home in Bidnjia. [1] [2] [3]

Utube is not considered to be correct for an inline citation, balzan is a primary involved source of content and not independant and the third citation is as I have told you in maltese are requires translating and adding to the footnotes, the content is disputed and your repeatedly insisting on reinserting it with other poor citations is not correct, if you have an issue please discuss it correctly on the talkpage, I realise you are involved in this personally, please take a step back and discuss. Off2riorob (talk) 19:11, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your just not listening are you, I assure you, your repeated reinsertion of disputed content with weak citations is not helping your desire at all, as I told you,, here at the wikipedia we discuss things when they are disputed we do not re add them in a warring tpe way, regards. Off2riorob (talk) 19:41, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So you are saying that every single one of these referenced sources are "weak"? I have included references from pretty much every single news source there is in Malta. Are you saying that there are no credible news sources in Malta?

Warning

[edit]

Your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daphne Caruana Galizia are intemperate and do not assume good faith on the part of others who obviously have more experience of our policies. If you do not turn down the rhetoric you are likely to be blocked from editing until the deletion debate is concluded. Guy (Help!) 15:12, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
The next time you make a personal attack as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daphne Caruana Galizia‎, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 01:00, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

When you're ready...

...we can work on an article about this woman. As long as you're doing this over the top attempt to to write a hatchet job... enjoy the red link. AniMate 12:04, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your question....`

[edit]

You personal attacks can be exemplified by these two comments.....You attack every one at that page including myself. I assure you I'm well versed with Cobalt Tony, and RioRob. WE know the standards and policies to make a article. I've authored over 70 articles and have Autoreviewer status here, if you want the help getting the article made I'm still willing. The attacks must stop and you must be willing to drop some of the more pointy material. It will likely only be a stub but a stub is still inclusion. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 15:53, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There have been plenty of referenced details about the subject`s professional life that have been both added and deleted throughout the evolution of the article, for two years prior to the recent additions. I am afraid that you, like almost everyone else on this page has obviously not properly looked at the history of the article prior to the recent additions, meaning you aren`t in a position to petition for its deletion. It is true that there are plenty of people who disagree with me that the article should be kept but for them ordering things deleted is just a hobby. They know nothing at all about the subject and their objections have got weaker and weaker. I know what you mean about the "good" as well as the "bad" but to be fair, the article does say that she is the best known journalist in Malta. Not exactly an insult. Qattusu (talk) 00:57, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"OUR" standards? Who exactly are you? I have satisfied your standards fully by providing multiple, objective references from multiple sources. You, on the other hand, haven`t even signed your contibution to this discussion. This is pretty rich -- being lectured on wikipedia "standards" by someone who is not even able to follow very simple discussion guidelines. As for Argumentum ad nauseam, neither you or anyone else has offered a single shred of evidence to dispute the reliability of the sourced references I have provided. Not a single word of evidence has been written to refute the reliability of The Times of Malta as a reliable source, referenced hundreds of times in other wikipedia articles. But who needs evidence eh? Why don`t we just go by the physical reactions of nameless, unsigned know-nothings on discussion pages? Qattusu (talk) 09:49, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Space to work on this article

[edit]

Orange Mike has kindly created a user subpage for you to work on this article, here: User:Qattusu/Daphne_Caruana_Galizia.

Please work on your proposed/ reworked article here instead of debating with the same arguments ad nauseum. CobaltBlueTony™ talk 16:15, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

One last time.

[edit]

A article about the subject can be here. It has to follow all the guidelines of nuetraility. The main difference in Posel and Galizia are very simple. He has independant coverage and the only she has that has been independant is relateed to one event. If you look at the posel article I removed most of the content. It was unsourced and shouldn't have been there. I suggest you try your article on the Maltese wiki first, it will help acquaint yourself with the policies we are talking about. After the article survives deletion review over there it will have a bttter chance here. I've had to reccomend this once before to User:Raymondnivet, he came back from the french wiki with a good article and I fought hard to get it included because it fixed 90 percent of the issues with the first one. My door is still open to help but we have to do it the pedia's way, not yours or mine..... Hell In A Bucket (talk) 16:35, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
