NeXor Productions

[edit]

The article NeXor Productions has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • A lot of people try to write articles about "growing companies" that "people should know about". That's not enough. Please take a look at our notability guideline for companies, WP:CORP, as well as our verifiability guideline, WP:V. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Yippedia

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Yippedia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Deadly∀ssassin 21:31, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Qmanjr5, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

There is a page about the verifiability policy that explains the policy in greater detail, and another that offers tips on the proper ways of citing sources. If you are stuck and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Deadly∀ssassin 21:44, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Userfied

[edit]

Well, I'm not convinced the content is useful, but there's no harm continuing to work on it in user space. I've put it at User:Qmanjr5/NeXor for now. Friday (talk) 22:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you're the owner, it's best you don't get involved in the article in any way at all. See Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Friday (talk) 16:43, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The link Wikipedia:Conflict of interest probably explains it better than I can. Friday (talk) 04:32, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
