Clarification needed![edit]

Hi Quixoticalee! Very interesting edits, the ones to Cognitive development. However, Wikipedia should be understandable for the average reader. I tagged one of the sections with a clarification-needed tag, but actually both sections should need some more explaining. Readers should not need to click on lots of wikilinks in order to be able to understand what is written. So it would be great if you could expand both subsections a bit, in common language.
