Abnormal heights

[edit]

Re Marilyn Manson (person): Human height#Average adult height around the world indicates 1.85m is above average for the U.S. (and Norway too). It's not freakishly so, though, so I'm not sure why he made an explanation for it... -- JHunterJ 15:00, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's what I thought too, I'm considered tall but unly slightly above average. BTW: One annoying thing about having average or above average height in Norway is that it seems that most clothing are not just "Made in China" but allso designed in China. Several designs won't even fit on an average norwegian skeleton, especially womens clothes. Even though big breasts is "fashionable" in the west many XL shirts would only just fit the average norwegians ribcage but not at all with skin and breasts. :) Qvasi 15:26, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Qvasi, I have a huge interest in Norwegian and Norway itself, my mother moved there and married one Kjell Jakobsen. I've been trying to meet Native Norwegian speakers, and I'd like to practice with someone who knows the language. My ultimate intent is to help translate English pages into Norwegian, but I really have to work på min norsk! Jeg kan snakke litt norsk nå, men jeg laerer norsk langsom...

Wow, just goes to show you how bad my Norwegian really is. Anyway, nice to meet you. Hope you're enjoying Wikipedia as much as I am!
