Regarding edits to Catch-22 (Lost)[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, R0ck1t! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule img[0-9]*\.imageshack\.us/img[0-9]*/.*\.png, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. Removing maint. templates[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed maintenance notices from an article, even though required changes haven't been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. Matthew 20:38, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum: There's no reason to remove maintenance tags, guidelines are very clear on this. If trivia can *not* be integrated then it obviously doesn't belong. I've also returned the article back to its previous image, which is more descriptive. Matthew 20:38, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There's never any reason for trivia, any is too much, if it can't be integrated it's clearly not encyclopaedic. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a fansite.. if people don't wish to be spoiled, then why are they at an encyclopaedia, hmm? Also, how is it really a spoiler? Anything can be construed as a spoiler of sorts. Matthew 20:00, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've no problem with people changing images (also I did not upload the Charlie one), but if you're replacing the image it should be of the same calibre in my opinion (i.e. The Charlie moment is a very significant moment in the episode and does add a lot to the article - and so the new image should add a lot to the article). Matthew 20:14, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
An image with Desmond and Penny (in flashback) would be good to me if you have the episode at hand. Matthew 20:16, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Charlie Tackled.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Charlie Tackled.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Hurley+New Girl.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hurley+New Girl.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:49, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
