Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Capitalismojo (talk) 19:53, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

My edit removed a large block of text that was copied and pasted from another Wikipedia article (you can even still see "Nai (caste) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Nai Caste:" at the top of the section) and, further, the content removed was an incomprehensible block of poorly formatted text. That's fine. The edit was flagged as vandalism which is why I reverted. Let me say that in your edit a variety of spelling errors were introduced. "a ethnic" instead of "an ethnic", "representative" is mispelled, etc. If you could, please look at the edit again for further cleanup. Thanks. Capitalismojo (talk) 20:12, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Re: MBF bioscience page

I work in MBF bioscience. I am trying to put some information about the company in the page. But it got deleted. Pleonorah (talk) 18:29, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia does not accept promotional or copyrighted material in its articles, and in your edits that was all you seemed to add. If you'd like to take a look at some of our help pages regarding promotion and copyrighted material, then I think you'll have no problem making edits. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:31, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

So do i have to write everything in my own words?Pleonorah (talk) 18:39, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Yes, you can use external websites as sources of information but not a source of content. Simply taking copyrighted material from another website harms Wikipedia's ability to be freely redistributed and exposes the Wikimedia Foundation to the risk of legal and financial penalties. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:44, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

But thats what my boss asked me to do--Take some sentences from the companies webpage and create a page on Wiki! So there is no way i can get back the page that i had created few min ago? Pleonorah (talk) 18:51, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

I'll repeat what I said before. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising and promotion and you can inform your supervisor of that fact. And no, I cannot restore your previous edit because it is in violation of Wikipedia's policies on copyrighted materials and promotion. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:56, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Ok thanks for your help! Pleonorah (talk) 19:05, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Some edit about elves...

Not sure who did that edit, but I can assure you it wasn't me. Possibly someone else was using my computer and pranking me. In either case, thank you for correcting it and apologies for the inconvenience it caused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.249.47.186 (talk) 21:22, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

donating a page

hello, I was wondering how i could donate copyright material on wikipedia.Pleonorah (talk) 15:03, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

I believe this page will answer your questions. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion and any content you might add from that copyrighted source must be written in a neutral point of view. Regards, RA0808 talkcontribs 17:47, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
