i just remove that lines because actually it's not true. it's not improper to say christianity has decline in south korea. protestanism / non-denominational churches have declined but catholicism is increasing there. catholic church is part of christianity. thanks https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Korea Joerico53 (talk) 17:40, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi RA

Thanks for the comments on the above.

I based the page on similar Wiki pages about villages and small towns in the same area of Kent and tried to give Iden Green the same style and feel. Please see Tenterden, Cranbrook, Sissinghurst and Benenden.

I have to say that I hesitated before adding a list of local pubs as I thought this may sound like an advertisement, but I noticed that a section titled 'Public Houses' is included on the Tenterden page so I assumed this would be ok? Please advise.

In terms of references/ citations, I have added several more now, so I hope you feel this is much better? Referring back to Tenterden i see that there are only two refs on the whole article and nothing in the first 23 paragraphs, so I thought i was doing well by including so many? Please advise.

I really want to make this a very good, informative and encyclopedic piece before moving on to something more complicated (!) so please help in any way you can.

Thank you! VixenNo9No9 (talk) 18:19, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

@VixenNo9No9: Thanks for your message, and it is definitely an improvement to add more references. The article to Tenterden has a number of issues with it as well (WikiProject Kent rates it C-class meaning "may still have significant problems or require substantial cleanup"), so it may not have been the best template. That being said, I think the best next step would be to create Request for Comment on the article to get as many different viewpoints on improvements as you can, especially from the UK Geography and aforementioned Kent WikiProjects.
Incidentally, could you please remove the duplicate of this message that you placed on Talk:Iden Green? Talk page conversations should be held in one place unless the parties decide to move it. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:33, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
Hi! Thanks for your reply. Glad I'm moving in the right direction with it! I've removed the dupe message from the Iden Green talk page. Is there any chance you could please help me by showing me what exactly i should post to get viewpoints? I'm confused by the explanation Wiki gives at its Request for Comment article. would be much appreciated. Thanks again! VixenNo9No9 (talk) 18:43, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
@VixenNo9No9: On second glance, I made a mistake in recommending RFC. My apologies, I should have read it in more detail before telling you to pursue it! I would recommend contacting WikiProject Kent on their talk page or by tracking down some of their more active contributors. If you have more general questions about Wikipedia, its policies, and its community you can also visit the Wikipedia Teahouse.
P.S. You don't need to use {{ping}} when talking to a user on their own talk page, since there is a separate notification that tells them whenever something is posted. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:00, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
Hi RA0808
Much work has been done to Iden Green now in trying to make it sound much more encyclopedic. Many refs have also been added. I also put it on the Wiki Kent page as you requested. I see also that it has been visitied and improved by an Administrator (Keith D). Would it pleaes be possible for you to view it again and if you agree that is it much better, remove the 'multiple issues/ advert/ peacock /tone flags that you put on? It would be very much appreciated.
Thanks! All your help and assistance to make it a better article has been much appreciated

VixenNo9No9 (talk) 17:28, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

@VixenNo9No9: Glad to see all the improvements that have been made, so I'm happy to remove the tags. Keep up the good work! RA0808 talkcontribs 02:53, 17 May 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: Dholkichya talavar

Hello RA0808. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Dholkichya talavar, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. Thank you. Passengerpigeon (talk) 02:10, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi,

Can you kindly help me work through the issues you outlined on the page? I am a first time contributor to Wikipedia so please be patient with me. I believe getting this page right is very important to the Java community.

Likely the best way to resolve these issue is for you to suggest specific changes I could make.

Thanks in advance,

Reza — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.165.117.180 (talk) 16:46, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

@73.165.117.180: I'm going to assume that this is @Mohammed Rezaur Rahman:. The tags on the article contain links to the relevant policies and guidelines. Unfortunately, I don't have enough free time to go through step-by-step what the article needs... so I recommend reading the relevant links and if you have specific questions about the policies you can ask at the Wikipedia Teahouse where there are plenty of trained "hosts" on-call to answer your questions. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:33, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
OK, I'll try to do what I can. Can you link to the process by which such concerns are cleared? Who reviews and clears them once I feel I've made adequate changes or wish to have a different reviewer (not suggesting that is needed here, mind you)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammed Rezaur Rahman (talkcontribs) 17:50 18 May 2016 (UTC)
@Mohammed Rezaur Rahman: Once you feel that the concerns have been addressed, you can remove the tags. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:51, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
OK, let me give it a try. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammed Rezaur Rahman (talkcontribs) 18:27, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Stephen H. Scott

Well it looks like the speedy was removed from Stephen H. Scott, though I'm not sure if it should be restored as it mentions he is a professor at a university-I put a BLP unsourced tag. I'll let someone else look over it-not sure if it needs a prod or not (someone will likely find it anyway when they update the unsourced BLP's in a couple hours) Wgolf (talk) 01:29, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

They eliminated my page Carlos Trewher without reason?

They eliminated my page without reason? My page is Carlos Trewher. I am an artist, I have a facebook page and verified want to appear in Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yackinn123 (talkcontribs) 02:27, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

@Yackinn123: No one has "eliminated" anything yet. It has been proposed for deletion under the policy on proposed deletion of biographies of living people and another editor has nominated it for speedy deletion under the criteria for speedy deletion. These are valid reasons for deletion under Wikipedia's Deletion Policy because the page does not follow Wikipedia policies, you having a Facebook page and "want[ing] to appear in Wikipedia" is immaterial. RA0808 talkcontribs 02:34, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

As I do to meet the standards and terms wikipedia here I have a verified page on facebook -> https://www.facebook.com/Carlos-Trewher-2001074830118251/ help me please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yackinn123 (talkcontribs) 02:40, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

@Yackinn123: As I said, having a verified page on Facebook does not matter. If you are interested in understanding Wikipedia's policies on biographies see WP:BIO. RA0808 talkcontribs 02:41, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
Also, in future please keep your messages to one section and sign them with four tildes (~~~~). RA0808 talkcontribs 02:42, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

I am a public figure, I checked on facebook, I am a musician and producer and I want my page of my own biography here on Wikipedia. But they put quick erase do not understand, I hope I really want to meet this wikipedia page here and fill the criteria to have a wikipedia page here find me on google also appear! I hope respond? Yackinn123 (talk) 02:55, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

@Yackinn123: This getting a bit tedious. Being listed as "public figure" on Facebook doesn't make you a public figure, because it's a setting you can easily change on a page you control. You don't get to make a Wikipedia article about yourself just because you want one... we have policies that this article simply does not meet. That is why it has been tagged for speedy deletion and proposed for deletion as a biography of a living person without reliable sources. RA0808 talkcontribs 02:56, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

And as you could create one that meets the requirements, you help me? Please! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yackinn123 (talkcontribs) 03:00, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

@Yackinn123: No, I will not create a page about you. With few exceptions, the user who creates a page has no bearing on whether it meets Wikipedia policies or not... so even if I were to create one it would be promptly tagged for deletion for the same reasons. To put it simply there is no evidence that you are a notable person that meets Wikipedia's policy on notability. Please drop this. RA0808 talkcontribs 03:04, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

Having problem to write articles

"Re:India"

Hi! I am sure that on 20th May I posted an article "Sugarcane in Queensland". I wanted to know if it is accurate or not. If it is not, I would like you to give me some tips personally.

I'll be waiting for your answer. Amiy Chakraborty (talk) 18:18, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

@Amiy Chakraborty: I'm a little confused by what you're asking. You did create the article Sugarcane in Queensland, which I nominated for speedy deletion because it did not seem to add any information that wasn't already present at sugarcane... and honestly it looked like it had been copied-and-pasted from somewhere else (though I couldn't find a matching source). If you are looking for tips on creating an article, see the Your First Article page. RA0808 talkcontribs 11:36, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi, after three days this was the oldest speedy. I see why you tagged it, but I declined it. The copyvio was now limited - I altered the lead to remove the copied sentence from LinkedIn, and I removed some slight puffery. I don't think the page is now irredeemably promotional. The "credible claim of significance" is receiving multiple awards and working with multiple notable organisations. I don't know if it will meet our notability standards but it may, so check for further sources before going to AfD. Fences&Windows 10:01, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

@Fences and windows: Understood. Thanks for the heads up. RA0808 talkcontribs 11:37, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I know that you are confused with my letter on 20th May. I was explaining you that I wrote that article for future use of the students who need specific information about cultivation of cane in Queensland. Have you got my last article? The one titled "Sugarcane Cultivation in Queensland"? I just wanted to know your opinion about it. I'm pretty sure I didn't got any reply from any of you. Thanks Amiy Chakraborty (talk) 17:10, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

@Amiy Chakraborty: My opinion of it was that it was not a necessary article in compliance with Wikipedia policy, because it did not add any new information. Everything in that article was already present at the article Sugarcane, so it was deleted under criteria for speedy deletion A10. Also, why do you keep titling these sections "Re: India" if your message is about a different article? RA0808 talkcontribs 22:10, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Hello! I received your message this morning. I was wondering if you would know about my draft review which I posted yesterday around seven.

Amiy Chakraborty (talk) 06:46, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

@Amiy Chakraborty: I usually stick to patrolling new pages and reverting vandalism, not reviewing drafts. There are other editors who specialize in that. RA0808 talkcontribs 12:24, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Regarding your CSD tag on Fearjealouz

Hi RA0808. Your CSD tag on the article Fearjealouz has been removed by the original creator, and I agree that it should be removed. The article passes the notability guideline of WP:NMUSIC as one of their albums have charted in the US. For more information, please read WP:NMUSIC. RegardsOptakeover(U)(T)(C) 13:15, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

@Optakeover: I'll defer to you on the issue, then. Thanks for letting me know. RA0808 talkcontribs 13:16, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
Hi again. I have taken a second look, and tried finding the relevant sources for the claims. I have not been able to find them. I'll be retagging all the articles. Sorry for all that, and thank you for your vigilance. Optakeover(U)(T)(C) 13:26, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
@Optakeover: Incidentally, we can't tag T.D.P. as A9 until the A7 deletion of Fearjealouz happens. So I'm going to comment it out for the time being. RA0808 talkcontribs 13:32, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
Do help out if you see fit, but as I am unable to find the corresponding information to back the info up, I'll be taking it as even G3 hoax. Optakeover(U)(T)(C) 13:34, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
As in, the article subject (the album) exists, but the information on charting seems to be completely false. Optakeover(U)(T)(C) 13:36, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

HAURC

Hi RA0808 - Thanks for your message just now about about detachment from the subject; and I respect what you have said. I recognize the point you are making, but also can see that the PBC and HAURC pages do not yet exist but ought to. The tone adopted is deliberately neutral and factual (at least I hope it is). If you consider changes to be fitting then I respect that view, I hope to have been helpful to the site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HAURC (talkcontribs) 13:33, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

@HAURC: I'm glad to see that you are taking the message about conflicts of interest to heart, you'd be surprised how many people completely ignore them. You should be aware, though, that your account will likely be "soft blocked" (i.e. blocked but only for a minor issue) in the near future for violation of the Wikipedia Username Policy since it implies shared use, and can be considered "promotional". If you would like to head this off, you can apply for a change in username now at WP:RENAME to bring your username up to policy. Even a simple change to "Bob at HAURC", etc. would be sufficient. Just make sure that before you contribute any more you follow the guidelines on conflicts of interest.
Incidentally, also please make sure in future to place new conversations at the bottom of a talk page and to sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). RA0808 talkcontribs 13:51, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
@RA0808: thanks for that feed back, requesting a name change; have been editing the page to validate some of your queries; an equivalent page exists for Warwick University rowing and other university clubs affiliated to British Rowing HAURC (talk) 14:29, 22 May 2016 (UTC)HAURC

Hi RA,

Thank you for your review and suggested edits!

Like Reza, I am a first time contributor to Wikipedia so your assistance is appreciated.

Can you provide an example of items that need to be changed on the page? If you do not have time to address step-by-step what the article needs, should I make changes to the page until the concerns are addressed?

Thank you again for your help!

@Giantsfan55: You should make changes to the article as many times as you feel necessary. These tags are simply for the information of yourself and other editors. The links within the tags will take you to pages that outline the relevant policies and guidelines. RA0808 talkcontribs 11:25, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

Just checking

Hi RA,

I noticed you've flagged my page and had it quickly removed.

Please help me understand how to create a page like this one for a similar company? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Home_Shield

Dave Parham — Preceding unsigned comment added by David G. Parham (talkcontribs) 16:14, 24 May 2016 (UTC)

@David G. Parham: Hello David, the page you linked (in future you can create an internal Wikipedia link by enclosing the page name in two square brackets, i.e. [[American Home Shield]] = American Home Shield) has several issues of its own and requires clean-up so I don't think it's the best template to work from. If you really want to create a Wikipedia page for your company (I say "your" because your comments on the article's talk page seemed to imply you have some affiliation), there are several policies that you have to follow including those on declaring conflicts of interest and paid contribution disclosure. I recommend reading "Your First Article" for more information on policies such as notability and verifiability. If, after reading the relevant policies, you still believe an article would be appropriate then I recommend exploring the Articles for Creation process where other editors can help you improve the page as a draft before it is "published" into the main article space. Hope this helps, RA0808 talkcontribs 16:23, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
RA - so if American Home Shield is allowed and mine was a clone, how can I get their's removed on similar grounds that you removed mine for?
Dave Parham — Preceding unsigned comment added by David G. Parham (talkcontribs) 21:00, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
@David G. Parham: Hello again. If an article does not meet the criteria expected of encyclopedic content it can be removed in accordance with the Wikipedia deletion policy, I recommend you review it. Long story short: there must be a discussion to achieve consensus (a very important factor in Wikipedia decision making) that the article is not appropriate for Wikipedia before it would be deleted unless it meets very specific criteria for speedy deletion.
I have one more thing to add, but first please clarify for me what your connection to America's Preferred Home Warranty is. RA0808 talkcontribs 22:17, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

About the recent redirection

Thank you for redirecting. But could you have added a section instead to the Alamont stabbing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DIRECTIVEA113 (talkcontribs) 19:02, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

@DIRECTIVEA113: I'm not quite sure what you mean. All the information in that article about Passaro is already covered chronologically in the article about Hunter's death, including Passaro's death in the aftermath of the trial. I'll be honest that I don't see what purpose concentrating the scattered sentences about Passaro as they relate to the case into a specific section will have... if anything it might make the article harder to understand.
(Also, in future, please keep messages on the same talk page and use a {{ping|*}} on the talk page, or a {{talkback}} template on the editor's talk page. Please don't forget to sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). RA0808 talkcontribs 19:10, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
