about the Vita3k being a "prodcut", it's not a product from any company nor a service, but a program made from a community so i think WP:PRODUCT doesn't apply here. on Notability, it's unfair because Vita3k It's a fairly new program but it's no different than Dolphin (emulator) or PCSX2, how could I provide external sources of notability? is the inclusion of an external article enough? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biel Bestué (talkcontribs) 13:09, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

@Biel Bestué: To show it is notable you must meet the criteria of, at the very least, the General Notability Guideline: significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. That means coverage that is more than a passing mention (i.e. not just in a list), from reliable sources (i.e. news organizations, gaming magazines), that are not connected to the subject (i.e. not written by anyone with close connections to the project. Wrong hospital

You removed {{Toronto teaching hospitals}} from the wrong article and removed the wrong article from the template. I fix that. Me-123567-Me (talk) 00:28, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Creating new biography

I would love to have a biography of myself. I am HipHop rapper based in Kenya basically am on the mainstream and this means a lot to me. Can you HELP — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stone Fabb (talkcontribs) 20:49, 24 March 2018 (UTC)

Can you help on that? Stone Fabb (talk) 20:52, 24 March 2018 (UTC)

@Stone Fabb: Hi and thanks for your message! Please note that, while you may "love to" have an article about yourself, Wikipedia does not have articles on everyone or everything that ever existed. All subjects of Wikipedia articles must meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability. This requires significant coverage in multiple independent, reliable sources. I've done a cursory Google search for both "Stone Fab" and "Kennedy Oloo" in Kenya and have not returned any examples of significant coverage.
Wikipedia is not a place to write about yourself or promote yourself. As it stands now, I cannot find enough evidence to indicate your are notable enough for an article to be created. Hope this helps! RA0808 talkcontribs 18:50, 25 March 2018 (UTC)

Thank you :)

Thank you for the help/info, sorry still learning how everything works on here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexander2046 (talkcontribs) 16:12, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

@Alexander2046: It can be a little daunting when first starting out, for sure! If you'd like more info about creating your first article feel free to check out the Your First Article guide and the Wikipedia Teahouse which is a great venue to ask questions of experienced editors. Happy editing! RA0808 talkcontribs 16:15, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

RE: Action for Boston Community Development

Hi RA0808,

Thank you for your message about content that I deleted from the Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) page. It's been nine years since anyone has updated the page for accuracy. I'm doing that and that entails deleting some outdated information. I will add details as I can to reflect the latest information about this agency. For instance, the history content ends at 2009, and it would take a little digging to provide recent milestones.

Kindly let me know if anything I contribute seems inappropriate or outside of Wikipedia's parameters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LeePhennerforABCD (talkcontribs) 19:24, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

@LeePhennerforABCD: Hi Lee and thanks for your message! Please also take note of the message I left on your talk page dealing with Wikipedia policies and procedures around conflicts of interest (WP:COI). As I noted at the end of the automatically-generated portion of the message, editors with conflicts of interest are requested not to directly edit pages related to said conflict, and are instead encouraged to propose edits through an edit request.
Additionally, it is generally expected that editors explicitly disclose conflicts of interest (WP:DISCLOSE). This can be easily done by placing the UserboxCOI template on your user page. In your case you can just copy from this grey box directly on to your user page: {{UserboxCOI|1=Action for Boston Community Development}}. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:31, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

Page Prosanta Chakrabarty

Hi! I am new to wikipedia and I am learning a lot... I have tried to edit all the copyright violations but I still see the following message and I don't understand what it means so I can go fix it.... please explain what that number range refers to.. the text or the number of edits or specific things in the page? Thanks Magenta 2018 The revisions requested to be redacted are: 832963759 to 832989206 (inclusive) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Magenta2018 (talkcontribs) 01:24, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

@Magenta2018: Hi and thanks for your message! As part of Wikipedia's software, past versions of pages are saved and remain viewable by the public in the Page History. In cases of copyright previous versions of the page that had infringement need to be hidden from the history to prevent legal issues. This applies even after copyright violations have been removed from the most recent version. The template at the top of Prosanta Chakrabarty is requesting a Wikipedia Administrator to hide some previous versions of the page, that's all. The numbers refer to the unique "revision number" which identifies previous versions of the page that need to be hidden. Hope this clears things up! RA0808 talkcontribs 16:25, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
