Re: Table in Deadliest Catch

[edit]

Re your message: I agree that the table could use revamping. Unfortunately, your use of the color only to indicate when a boat appeared in the season makes the table difficult to read for color blind readers and editors. It's not that the text is white. It's that only color is used to convey information and that's bad. Instead, I would recommend that you include some text in the boxes to indicate an appearance in the season (e.g., "K" or "O" or "B" for king crab, opilio crab, or both with a legend key, or even the whole word). Having color enhance the boxes is fine. The only example I can come up with off the top of my head is the current Formula 1 season results tables. You will see that while the boxes are colored, they also have numbers and abbreviations. If you were to remove the color, the table would still convey is minimum information. I would be happy to work with you on constructing a replacement table. Perhaps a sandbox on your user page to work in it while we build it? -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Travel and meetings article

[edit]

Are you going to keep the Travel and meetings of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton article you created up-to-date, or should it be deleted? Right now nothing links to it, so no one ever sees it. Wasted Time R (talk) 00:26, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
