Just a friendly note about your request for page protection for the article Tom Strickland. The template doesn't go on the article itself, and I've removed it. If you still feel the page needs protection, please read Wikipedia:Requests for page protection for the steps you need to take. Thanks!--Fabrictramp | talk to me 23:15, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your helpful directions. I am new at this. I work with Tom Strickland, and he asked me to help him with this entry. If you look at the editing you will see that someone with a particular interest in one single trial among the many that Mr. Strickland prosecuted during his tenure as U.S. Attorney keeps changing the entry to accommodate that person's opinion about that case, rather than the third party, newspaper accounts. I will go to Requests for page protection. Thanks again-- RM Baker

Tom Strickland[edit]

Hello RM Baker, welcome to wikipedia! I'm just here to drop you a little note about WP:NPOV. You say that you know Tom Strickland, thats great, but remember to keep all information you add about him neutral. Always use reliable sources and avoid original research. This is just friendly advise from me (not a warning!), i'm sure you'll make a fantastic wikipedian! Enjoy your editing :-) John Sloan (talk) 19:04, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
