Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Uganda Railway, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Jake Brockman (talk) 08:24, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent contributions

[edit]

Hi and welcome again to Wikipedia. Your edits are much appreciated. I noticed your created articles with railway and travel topics, particularly new articles about Friends of the Railway Museum East Africa and Facin Mount Kenya. While this is appreciate, Wikipedia has certain rules what kind of articles are acceptable and how they are managed. In a nutshell, articles need to be notable (i.e. of relevant topic) and encyclopedic (i.e. well sourced and neutrally written). Your recent additions lack relevant third party sources. We can only accept an article if you can provide third party sources directly mentioning the Friends of the Railway or Facin Mount Kenya. The sources provided are not sufficient. Please also familiarise yourself with WP:NOTE to assess if Wikipedia is the right place for them. In the meantime I have marked your articles as proposed for deletion. If you have any questions, pls let me know. Jake Brockman (talk) 15:03, 14 April 2017 (UTC) Other than Internal Ministerial communications there exist Newspaper articles including [1] [2] RRBigO (talk) 15:54, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Friends of the Railway Museum East Africa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Irrelevant sources, likely lacking notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
