Hello Wayne: RE: "I was RTO for C Company 2/503 and was with the unit when it went to the rescue of Alpha Company and the Company Commander and Company Platoon leaders were disciplined." >>> Two things that strikes me from your comment was the Rescue part, when as I understand that C Company got there after the disengagement and had some issues with the CS crystals that Compane A spread. The body counts were done by you guys as I undertand. I was next to 1st Platoon's Lieutenant and saw him shot in the head and breathe next to me for two or three minutes before he died so the part of Platoon leaders being diciplined strikes me as a bit funny too. I was the last Trooper to leave the battle alive with eight bullets left in my M-16. We hear some shots after from a position that five or six of us set up away from the main battle area. Most likely done out of spite. The Lieutenant had his helmet blow off with the impact to his right side above his ear and exiting out the left top of his head in battle. His RTO took one through the radio and died some time after the Lieutenant died. I was there for three hours. Cloustonenergy (talk) 13:39, 6 April 2012 (UTC) Sidney Clouston RA16928532[reply]
