Chrome[edit]

Looked at your article. It seems well-written.

It is insufficiently cited. It would need at least one WP:RELY cite per paragraph, ideally.

It needs a statement of financial characteristics, a bit hard to report in a private company. If they were notable, they would have found a way to publish that information. If not, they would be afraid to and therefore not notable. Sales. Number of clients. That sort of thing. In other words, not aficionado material, but business oriented material. Student7 (talk)

It is considered verboten to mark up someone's article in a sandbox unless instructed to do so. I could do that if you wanted. This could be alarming in a brand new article, but no big deal in a sandbox. This would contain the comments made above. If you didn't like them or agree, you could just revert my comments back to their original state. Student7 (talk) 19:00, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I defined a sandbox in your user space. There are "other" ways of doing this, but this is the one I have used. I have copied your draft into there. You may now decide to keep the draft as your master or whatever. If it were me, I would ensure the sandbox was there, copy the raw stuff into Word (!). (I wouldn't have trusted Wikipedia when I first started. Sometimes copying stuff is s good idea anyway). Then delete it from your user page. You may have noticed that user pages usually have personal stuff on them, but no one can tell you what you "should" have on your user page. Student7 (talk) 13:43, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing[edit]

Good work on your Chrome Specialties article, it's refreshing to see a well-written first article from someone who's just started on Wikipedia. Just to note, you don't have to actually list the sources after putting a reflist template; as long as you include the source in each citation, the sources will be listed automatically when you put down the reflist. Happy editing. Michaelmas1957 (talk) 18:35, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
