@EdJohnston: The WP:ARBPIA3#500/30 was made to exclude new accounts from editing sensitive matters. I'm not new nor inexperienced and have sufficient edits in my german account. The general prohibition at WP:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Palestine-Israel articles 3#500/30 comes directly from the Arbitration committee. From the way it is worded, I don't see how individual administrators have authority to waive the requirement. Counting edits from other projects towards anything on the English Wikipedia is never done, so far as I know. EdJohnston (talk) 14:41, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
