Not quite ready

[edit]

In my opinion, the article (here) is not quite ready to move into article space. I'll explain why, and remove the request to move this article into article space. Other editors may feel differently, so if you disagree with my reasons, feel free to replace the template, and someone else may move it for you.

Wikipedia articles have a specific structure to them, specified in a guideline called Layout (Click on the link to see the details). Your draft doesn't incorporate some of the required elements of the structure. I've made a couple changes to help you see what is needed. If you read the page, it will help you understand what is needed and how to do it.

It is important for Wikipedia articles to have references to reliable sources. While you have some items labeled as references, they are not formed as they should be. As a guide to including references properly , please see Citing sources and footnotes. Please add some references in the correct form to support the factual claims in the draft article.--SPhilbrickT 14:54, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on International autograph auctions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Comments

[edit]

First, I would second what Blanchardb said on the article talkpage. Wikipedia is not the place for what you seem to have been proposing to do. Secondly, please read WP:CORP and WP:RS about notability of companies, and reliable independent sources. While you're at it, look at WP:COI. This is to do with editing about you and yours - not forbidden, but not recommended. Another policy that might be of interest is WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. If you feel that a page about another company (or whatever) does not fit the policies, you are welcome to tag it. But, the existence of one article does not mean that another should too, whatever the state of compliance with the policies of either of them. They are separate entities. A tag has been placed on International Autograph Auctions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable.
