nbsp

[edit]

Please do not replace nbsp characters between values and units with spaces or hyphens, as you did at Dioptre. The SI standard requires a space between values and their units. The nbsp character produces a space (a Non-Breaking SPace) that cannot be broken at an end of line, so the value and its units do not get separated across a line break.--Srleffler 06:22, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I missed the hyphens to minuses change. They are hard to distinguish.--Srleffler 06:43, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
