Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, all additions should be supported with reliable, third-party sources. Your recent additions to Types of gestures cited no sources, and have been reverted. If you wish to re-create this content, please be sure to cite reliable sources. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Les Animaux dénaturés, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Planet of the Apes (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I've rolled back much of your recent edits where you were spamming article links to See also sections that were only tangentially related. Please familiarize yourself with MOS:SEEALSO. --Ronz (talk) 02:35, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-GMO project

[edit]

So The Non-GMO Project is a lobbying group of organic producers. How is that appropriate to put on the GMO sites? Shall we also put Biotechnology Industry Organization on the organic sites? This is why you were reverted - you are soapboxing. Jytdog (talk) 03:06, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this edit summary: "this should never been deleted. info is very scant as they quietly canceled series, &never sold/marketed well to begin, so there's little to nothing to source. I physically own everything released, &emailed mattel personally for full details on rest"

If there is little or nothing to source then that means there should not be an article. From Wikipedia notability: "Information on Wikipedia must be verifiable; if no reliable third-party sources can be found on a topic, then it should not have a separate article" To have an article it should have "received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Information from you, the owner, or Mattel, the manufacturer, is definitely not sufficient.

Also, you are admitting that here you have a conflict of interest and therefore should not be writing about products that you own, as that makes it more difficult to write them from a neutral point of view. In this case you should search for third party information about the products. If that doesn't exist then neither should the article. Valenciano (talk) 10:12, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
