If you're new to a website, try to pay attention when others give you hints about how to edit

Several people have tried to explain that you need to discuss your edits on Talk:Enterprise (NX-01). Many people disagree with your edit. Please stop trying to force it through; that's called WP:Edit warring, and will get you blocked. Also, see WP:3RR; you're likely to get blocked if you add that again. Howard Kippenberger

I was doing some minor clean-up on the holders of the Victoria Cross. Charles Upham mentioned Howard Kippenberger, and I suppose I thought he deserved an article. I only wrote a sentence, an anonymous editor expanded it substantiallly, and it has grown since then.

“ King George VI had invested Upham with his first Victoria Cross at Buckingham Palace on 11 May 1945. When the recommendation was made for a second VC, the King remarked to Major-General Howard Kippenberger that a bar to the cross would be "very unusual indeed" and inquired firmly, "Does he deserve it?"

Kippenberger replied, "In my respectful opinion, sir, Upham won the VC several times over."
