Welcome![edit]

Hello, Radtk109, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Group 3 Edit Plans[edit]

Currently, Artesunate has the subject headlines of: Medical Uses, Mechanism of Action, Adverse Effects, and Synthesis.

We plan to edit these sections and the introduction along with adding 1) Drug-Drug interactions; 2) Warnings/Precautions; 3) pharmacokinetics; 4) Special Populations.

We will divide these editing tasks as follows:

  • 1) Improve: Introduction, Medical Uses; Add: Special Populations - Kendra
  • 2) Improve: Mechanism of Action; Add: Pharmacokinetics - Vicky
  • 3) Improve: Adverse effects; Add: Warnings/Precautions - Christy
  • 4) Improve: Synthesis; Add: Drug-Drug interactions - Quintin

We will utilize PubMed to find review articles, Embase, DailyMed, WHO, CDC, and malaria treatment guidelines to find information to update this page. These resources will provide a well-rounded, unbiased source of information to enhance the impact of the article. We will make sure to keep this information written at the level of the general public.
