License tagging for Image:Mvelopesscreenshot2.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mvelopesscreenshot2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Mvelopesscreenshot2.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mvelopesscreenshot2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- SteinbDJ · talk · contributions 15:12, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Drahcir[edit]

A tag has been placed on Drahcir requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Ironholds 16:45, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of D. Gary Young[edit]

I have nominated D. Gary Young, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/D. Gary Young. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:00, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

--- Hi, please help me understand the steps I will need to take so that this is not deleted. I am happy to comply and become uniform with Wikipedia's best practices. Thanks! ----

First, you will need to demonstrate that Young is notable by citing reliable sources that confirm the information in the article- that means, not his own web site, but newspaper articles, magazine articles, and books about him. Second, we'll need to use those sources to remove the bias from the article- right now, it reads like an advertisement for him, and contains several things that I could identify as slanted or untrue right away- for example, his 'masters' degree' is from one of those mail-order diploma mills, and the healing of an injury over decades is more likely to be due to the body's natural healing process than oil. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:13, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rich,

I made several edits to comply with your advertisement image that was placed.

Thanks for the feedback - I think the new edits I made make it more editorial in nature.

Could you take a look at the article again and see if it now qualifies for removal of that "advertisement" image. If it does not - please let me know what specifically I can do to make it more unbiased - I think it reads pretty well now -- your comments are appreciated -- thanks!

Thanks!

Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for Image:Garyyoung.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Garyyoung.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 20:40, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Gary young president of young living requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 14:49, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Page move[edit]

I have moved Gary young president of young living to Gary Young (businessman). The former title gives the impression that "Living" is the man's last name, and that his mother called him "Gary young president of young" at birth. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 15:01, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Young Living Essential Oils[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Young Living Essential Oils, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Lacks reliable and verifiable sources to establish notability of a corporation.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. tedder (talk) 01:53, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ningxia red, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
