Blocked

[edit]

You are blocked temporarily for impersonation. Please change your signature before you edit again, and not that people concentrating on one article are often viewed with suspicion. Thank you. Chick Bowen 17:20, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see now that you changed your sig just before I blocked you. I'll assume good faith and unblock, though I certainly would like to know how this happened in the first place. It is not a common occurrence. Chick Bowen 17:25, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Jimmy Wales. Also, consider this a warning not to further violate the three revert rule or you will be blocked. EconomicsGuy (talk) 09:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Really? I looked on the talk page and couldn't find a copy of the email. I'd sugest you forward the email to OTRS and let them deal with it—when they've sorted it out I'll be happy to undelete the image off Commons. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 12:16, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems you added it while I was writing that. Please have an OTRS respondent confirm that this email was received by them. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 12:18, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How does one do that?
Contact somebody listed at m:OTRS (I generally just ask Daniel) and ask them to verify it, with a link to the talk page where you posted the email. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 12:21, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 12:53, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
