The article Mumbai Police (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not enough info available yet.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Ahimsa (1981 film), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article.  Chzz  ►  08:39, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please use edit summaries

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. --bender235 (talk) 13:07, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kerala

[edit]

User:RajaNeela1993, Please note that Kerala is not the south-west corner state. The south most corner on the west coast belongs to Kanyakumary district of Tamil nadu. Please allow me to correct this factual error. Thanks Austria156 (talk) 21:51, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Film infoboxes

[edit]

Please explain why are you changing the parameter "writer" to "screenplay" in the film infoboxes. This should be done only if the story and screenplay are written by different persons. I guess in most of your edits, you have not specified who wrote the story. And in my knowlede, most of them have story and screenplay written by the same person. Kindly note this in your future edits and revert yourself if you have done inaccurate edits. -- Arfaz (talk) 17:53, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Film languages

[edit]

What is the purpose of changing the language of so many films to just "Indian"? It would be great if you could add useful sourced info to articles, instead of making needless changes. BollyJeff || talk 02:04, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your contributions

[edit]

Please don't change the template {{Film India}} to just {{IND}} in film infoboxes. See Template:Infobox film which clearly says: "When using the field, do not use flag icons, as this places an unnecessary emphasis on nationality; see MOS:FLAG for a detailed rationale."

Also, when you find [[Malayalam]] in next to the language in the infobox, can you please change that to Malayalam? This will add the category Malayalam-language films automatically -- Arfaz (talk) 06:02, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Puthukottyile Puthu Manavalan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Vensatry (Ping me) 11:54, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
