I have updated the article based on some of your comments on the talk page. However, I am curious about your assertion of the government's "rewrite of history". KimChee (talk) 13:46, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting, small world? KimChee (talk) 14:46, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
hi kimchee, sorry, I just now noticed these comments. I would have responded right away if I had. By now I think everything has been said in the Chandra Levy Talk page. I noticed the Further reading add, that works out well. Thanks.Ralphdaugherty (talk) 01:55, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Periodicaly I check this article for accuracy. Given the amount of new material it's very accurate and well done. Two minor problems. 1- "Levy was last seen on May 1, 2001." This is a minor quibble. She was not seen that day. It is normally described as she disappeared on May 1, 2001, that based on activity on her computer that morning. She was last seen the previous evening at the gym. So it should read "Chandra was last seen on April 30, 2001." Although the May 1, 2001 of her disappearance is important. She just wasn't seen that day though.

2- "The last search at 12:24 p.m. was for the location of the Pierce-Klingle Mansion,[7] a historic house in Rock Creek Park that is used as the park's administrative office.[8]" This is completely incorrect. The time comes from the Washington Post reporting, specifically "Her last search was at 12:24 pm." The sentence before that the Washington Post reported the specifics of obtaining a web page with Rock Creek Park administrative office. The specifics was accessing washingtonpost.com "Entertainment Guide". In addition this took place at 11:33 a.m., an hour earlier. McClatchy reported that first Guandique trial forensics testimony (Dombowski) stated the last search was for information on French province of Alsace-Lorraine. In addition, while the last search may have taken place at 12: 24 p.m., she didn't log off until about 1 p.m. The Wikipedia entry is written as if last thing Chandra did was a search related to Rock Creek Park and ended up being found there. It is entirely unacceptable. The last search on Alsace-Lorraine is actually more instructive.

Thanks for any help getting this information corrected. Through the years the editors here have been very savvy on this case and can ascertain better than me what would be preferable. Ralphdaugherty (talk) 06:16, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
