Hello and welcome to Wikipedia (WP). You seem to be familiar with Joseph Austin Holmes, and your help is appreciated. However, WP policy is that assertions should be sourced to reliable sources. If you know about newspaper articles or similar sources about the subject, it would be helpful to add them even if you do not write based on them - someone else coming later could do that, and in any case it helps to establish the notability of the subject.
