Delta Classic[edit]

I apologize. The article is not intended as an advertisement. It was listed as a suggested article in WikiProject College football. As a started working on the article I realized there wasn't enough history (games played, records, etc.). I got ahead of myself on this one. I am not disputing the delete. Hi, I got the go ahead and then a harsh warning[edit]

Hi, I'm a new user who was trying to edit an article. I mistakenly deleted a tag and got this warning "Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines." After trying to "add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines" I received this warning "This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you create an inappropriate page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia". Do you think the warnings were a bit misleading and harsh or is there a reason why the second warning jumped to an immediate ban? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Torrelalexis (talkcontribs) 00:11, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:AFC decline[edit]

Hey, I saw that you recently declined an article for Slieve Rushen Mountain at WP:AFC because of unverifiable sources. The anon who submitted the request placed references in the form of <ref> </ref>, which can't be seen unless you use {{reflist}} or go into the edit screen and view them manually. I checked out the references, and they seem to be pretty decent. So, I'm going to create the article despite your decline to it. Please let me know if there is something that I might have missed. Happy editing! Icestorm815 (talk) 16:14, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wyvern (MMORPG) : not neutral[edit]

I saw all you tags on the article Wyvern (MMORPG) I just created. If this page has so many issues, please, suggest it for deletion. I totally disagree that the article looks like an advertisement, but indeed it was just a stub. Bpfurtado (talk) 02:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When articles are like that, please tag for stub instead of cleanup. All articles will need this type of cleanup at the beginning, and there is no point in adding cleanup tags - just stub them. — NovaDog(contribs) 21:34, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Generation[edit]

I am a volunteer for new generation international and been trying the whole day to put new generation in Wikipedia the whole day buy every time i do so they take away the section because they say its spam and advertising. Its has never been my intention to advertise for new generation but only to put the information about the organization in wiki says that churches, members and pastors from aroud the world can get the information they need. What can I do to keep the information about New Generation in Wiki?

About New Generation[edit]

Thx for the quick answer! So can I as an volunteer in new generation write about the organization? And what more can I do then to write about New Generation in a third person form? The sources I have is a book about the organization and the websites they have. Do I need something more or should I just let someone else write about it?

NG again[edit]

Thanks for the help mate! I just don't get it though, if I would search on new generation now the hit would be suedes third single called new generation. What I wanted to write abou was a charity called new generation that has more then 20 000 members doing positive things in over 2000 schools working in 15 countries, many churches and people would like to know more about it and they often ask if new generation is up in Wiki? It really should be in Wiki. So I tried to write about it yesterday but but both time yo toke it away even though i wrote everything in third person form. And I really don't understand why you think the article is a spam, new generation is a non profit organization...

About Basil Brush[edit]

Hi sir, do ya like the Basil Brush show? Or do you know users that do? Would you help me to bring the show to DVD here in Brazil, my country? I have planned a elabourated method to gain that. If you could make me such a kindness, I'd thank you as I can. Send me a message and I'll explain my machiavellian idea.

I beg your pardon for my strange english. If your spañol is good, maybe better to talk in that language.

Arivederci. Manilius (talk) 20:17, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's easier to me to translate from english to portuguese than do the contrary... Here in Brazil the Basil Brush Show is only seen in cable, and I wished the show would be exhibited in open TV, cause, then, it would be, I don't know how to say, "lançado" in DVD. The shrewd plan is, to suggest in the site of a Tv Channel, here from São Paulo, the transmission of the show. Obviously, the message could not be in english, so that I would write it in portuguese, with respective translation to you, guys. All you task would be to post it in the site with your e-mail. It would be an "acuerdo de caballeros" between us, and I would to pay this favour if I can. What do you think? Manilius (talk) 13:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did target you cause I've seen your edition in Basil's article and I've thinked that you liked the show. And to pay the favour doesn't mean pecuniary reward, I guess... but if anytime you need a similar courtesie, "para eso estamos". Manilius (talk) 14:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
