Information icon Hello, I'm Laser brain. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sting (musician), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rare Tiger requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~SS49~ {talk} 11:59, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Rare Tiger, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Rare Tiger, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. JW 1961 Talk 22:02, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Rare Tiger. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello, even though I was the one who created the article, no self promotion was intended and I tried as much as possible not to make that obvious. The sole purpose was to provide who the music artist name which exists on almost every music service represents, with no further information about early life stories and such. Anyway, my question is, if someone else created the article, would there still be a problem? Rare tiger (talk) 00:40, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Rare tiger, sorry that I didn't reply earlier (if you want someone to know that you have answered type in {{u|Joseywales1961}} for me for example or whoever the username is then they will get a notification that there is a reply) To create an article about an artist/band etc it should be made by someone not associated with them see WP:COI and that person or band must have received substantial coverage in reliable sources (see WP:RS), remember also that as the article is about a living person or persons that it must also follow the rules for Biographies of Living Persons (see WP:BLP) hope this is of assistance to you and best wishes JW 1961 Talk 22:22, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
