  • Hey, consider changing your name, a bit, maybe. Not everyone seems to like it. (See WP:USERNAME.) Thanks, Drmies (talk) 02:53, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
sure! if everyone here in wikipedia does not seem to like my user name, i would be more than happy to abide by the consensus. the last thing i would like to introduce into wikipedia is a sense of disapproval! please forgive my ignorance. could you be so kind as to suggest how i might change it, and what name everyone might like instead? --Ratbastardassn (talk) 15:37, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I can't help you choose, and a lot of the good names are taken :-) But you ask for a rename here: Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:34, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

im a little confused so please forgive me? reps of the wiki community prompt me to change my name but won't give me a name that they will be happy with? that is fine and all, but why would i want to go through all the hassle and trouble of picking another name only to receive another disapproving user name message from the community yet again!?! that doesn't make any sense, does it?

so, how about at least making one suggestion like "Chang"? it appears that is the most common name is the world. would that meet approval to the wiki community? --Ratbastardassn (talk) 17:10, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect we have quite a few Changs for that reason :-) Consider that every time you edit, a history entry is created that includes your user name; and when you post to a noticeboard or talk page, you should sign as you did above. The rules for what's not allowed are here: WP:User name policy. Yngvadottir (talk) 17:58, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

November 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:LG Williams, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

You are cutting and pasting different parts of discussions out of context. I ASKED: "Regarding LGW being an imposter - and the sources conveying what was fed to them by the artist -- do you have specific examples?--CaroleHenson (talk) 23:01, 26 November 2014 (UTC)" Manufacturing evidence is not helpful!

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Talk:LG Williams. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia -- and talk page guidelines for adding content to talk pages.

If you disagree with consensus, you 1) seem to assume that editors and not acting in good faith and 2) attempt to filibuster and cite Wikipedia guidelines inappropriately without backing them up with information that relates to the true intention of the guideline. Please read the guidelines and provide specific examples that directly related to the guideline - based on actual (not manufactured) evidence. LG Williams Talk Page[edit]

it might be a good idea for me to let the editors LG Williams continue their promotion of ORIGINAL RESEARCH and FRINGE THEORIES about LG Williams since they have no interest allowing WP:V and WP:PRIMARY sources to be read; thus any neutral point of views. i will no longer attempt to challenge your persistent agendas in the article, and insinuations against my person. --Ratbastardassn (talk) 22:13, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It might be a good idea for you to change your username first. Could you please follow the steps listed above and stop stalling? It's a relatively simple procedure. - Hoops gza (talk) 18:48, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
