Misplaced subpages of Template:POTD for year 2004

Thank you for creating subpages of Template:POTD for archived content which had the different POTD format. Unfortunately, it seems that some of these pages were created at the wrong dates. For example, Template:POTD/2004-05-19 from Wikipedia:Picture of the day/December 7, 2004 should be at Template:POTD/2004-12-07 instead. Similarly Wikipedia:POTD/December 13, 2004 and Template:POTD/2004-05-18. —andrybak (talk) 13:03, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

I added the death date initially, and the TFA coords asked me to remove it (since otherwise people may think we're saying there was something noteworthy about the death or the death date). What do you want to do about death dates? - Dank (push to talk) 18:33, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

@Dank: If the TFA coords think it isn't a good idea, I'm happy to defer to their judgement. Personally, I don't believe full birth/death dates have elicited much reader comment, if at all; we do this all the time at POTD as well without incident. Naturally TFA is more prominent and gets more attention than POTD, but I think the same principle holds: it indicates to readers that we're featuring an article on the anniversary of its subject's birth/death. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 23:53, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't have a preference, but I'll defer on this one too. Thanks. - Dank (push to talk) 00:52, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
