Disputed fair use rationale for File:Villajoyosa CF.png}

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Villajoyosa CF.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (File:Santoña CF.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Santoña CF.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:07, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Segunda Division B and Tercera Division play-off articles

[edit]

Hi, I hope you don't mind but I've been doing a few page moves to more accurately reflect what they're about i.e. moving the Segunda Division B play-offs to articles like Tercera División Play-Off 2006-07 etc. as the teams involved are all from the Tercera División and are playing-off for promotion. If that all goes well then the Segunda Division ones can move to the places currently occupied by the ones I'm moving to Tercera spots, but I'll need an admin for that. If you've any problem, feel free to shout at me at my talk page. Only once I'd started moving things round in a frenzy of page moving did it occur to me to check with the page authors what they though. My apologies. Hope you've no objections. - Chrism would like to hear from you 15:08, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for any offence I might have caused. My main problem with the article titling is that it seems to make very little sense. The article about the Segunda Division play-offs includes both the playoffs from B to A (which I can see the logic about naming the article that way if thats how they title in in Spain though its a little different to how we do it) and the relegation play-offs from B to Tercera. The title is therefore arguably misleading as the relegation play-offs have nothing to do with Segunda A, if you see my point. As for consultation, I didn't mention it at WP:FOOTY's talk page and no one mentioned anything so I decided to go ahead and give it a go. - Chrism would like to hear from you 15:45, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, shouldn't the sections about the relegation play-offs be removed from the articles? My knowledge of Spanish is not as good as it used to be, and I don't particualrly read Spanish media so the exact nuances of how the competition is titled are beyond me. But I don't see why the play-offs for relegation from Segunda B to Tercera would be treated as part of the play-offs for Segunda A. It just seems rather strange, and that was why I thought the articles were mis-titled. - Chrism would like to hear from you 17:02, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see, when you look at it that way it makes more sense. I was kind of looking at it from the point of relegating teams downwards rather than keeping two teams up. Difference of emphasis I suppose. Thanks for the explanation. - Chrism would like to hear from you 14:39, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Divisiones Regionales 2008-09

[edit]

Hola, Raymond. Fair use rationale for File:SD Sporting Sada.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:SD Sporting Sada.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 17:28, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you have been linking some dates at División de Honor de Futsal Play-Off 2008/09 recently. This practice is now deprecated. Please see WP:LINKING and WP:MOSNUM. Furthermore, there is an temporary Arbcom injunction on mass linking/delinking of chronological elements, although there is no suggestion from me that you are in breach whatsoever. I'm happy to respond to any inquiries you may have about the matter. Thank you for your attention. Ohconfucius (talk) 04:57, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Enlace del partido

[edit]

Pon este enlance [1] que aquí lo transmiten. Por cierto, segundo gol del Sporting B (2-0).

Could you explain why you reinserted the above mentioned template here? Please read the guidelines at Template:Current sport. A current event template is supposed to be used to warn our readers that an article is being massively edited and/or rapidly changing. If an article is stable there is no reason to warn our readers. Templates like this one are not supposed to be used to merely inform our readers that something is ongoing, since that is already obvious from the article itself. --Conti| 12:14, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can assure you I'm not a robot, if that's any help. :) Once more: Current event templates (as confusing at it sounds) are not used to inform our readers that something is currently ongoing, since there's no point in doing that. We don't have any template on 2009 in sports either, after all. So if you disagree with the guidelines for current event templates, I invite you to voice your opinion at Template talk:Current sport#Adding & applying guidelines. --Conti| 13:11, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
