Sevilla F.C.

[edit]

Hola. Saludos --Hispalois (talk) 00:07, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Castile-La Mancha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Province of Cuenca (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Tennis

[edit]

Hey, you do know that there is a reason why some players aren't linked? If they fail the notability standards for Tennis they won't be redlinked... Kante4 (talk) 19:01, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Help with women's national team articles

[edit]

Hi. I'm working on some women's national team articles on my user space with the intention of taking as many of them as possible to DYK. (Hence the drafting on my user space.) If you have the time, could you help edit the articles listed below? I'd be happy to give you DYK credit for any articles you help improve. :) --LauraHale (talk) 20:22, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. The lack of information is problematic, and probably why many of these countries don't have articles. I'm not sure they all have actual FIFA recognition or even have national teams. In the case of Zanzibar, they appear to have an unofficial national team. --LauraHale (talk) 23:36, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Thanks for creating the articles on the main space... I'd been crafting them in my user space with the intention of taking them all to DYK. : / I would have been happy to give you credit for that and was willing to nominate them... Hence all the links to my user space. I didn't mean to request creation on the main space. --LauraHale (talk) 05:11, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Real Oviedo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Real Oviedo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:54, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge request and DYKs

[edit]

Hey. Can you find an admin to do a merge on the articles that you copied from my user space to the main space and the main space versions? I probably did at least 10 edits to all those articles and the edit history doesn't reflect that. :( And seriously work on adding content to :

I assume you can help fix the prose with these articles and help get them up to DYK length for nomination and preparedness in the next 24 hours or so? That was why you copied over yes? Thanks so much for the help with these articles and preparing them for DYK. I didn't want to NOMINATE THEM quite yet but obviously you were confident you could get this done ASAP as you wouldn't have started the clock ticking otherwise. So yes, thank you for the grammar fixes, finding additional citations and helping with the prose. I don't have time to do 30+ other article research and expansions as I submit my dissertation soon, so if you could make any future edits on my user space versions so I can help get them prepped for DYK. You'll still get edit credit because your edits will be in the history. --LauraHale (talk) 06:26, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am a little confused. I dont know if edit your user space articles or if create those same on main space. You can redirect your user space articles using move button. --Raymond Cruise (talk) 10:21, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop?

[edit]

Can you PLEASE stop editing in my user space until I can get the articles you put into the main space FROM MY USER SPACE (after having created them with a copyvio) back to my user space? I didn't realize when you made your comments you had created the articles despite the request for help in my user space. There isn't any proof those teams you put back actually exist. So yes. PLEASE STOP editing my user space until the articles you moved into the main space get put back into my user space? -LauraHale (talk) 11:25, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Enrique Gandul Aparicio has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail both WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File permission problem with File:Alicante CF.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Alicante CF.gif. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Cloudbound (talk) 20:01, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Elvis Onyema, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. SajjadF (talk) 22:42, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
