Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Hannahic Covenant, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Again, welcome! Zhang He (talk) 00:51, 14 November 2009 (UTC) Reason not to delet the Hannahic Covenant Page The Hannahic Covenant is one of the most important covenants made between God and a female prophet. I provided numerous links to the biblical verse. It is important because this covenant marks a turning point in Jewish history--the end of Judges, and chronicles the inception of Israel's first monarchs,as well as the beginnings of the progenitor of the Mesiah--King David. Hannah's covenant is as important as the other covenants, and underscores a monumental event in Jewish History. Please do not remove this little known fact to the religous community as well as the secular world.~~[reply]

I plan to add more content to the new page I made, and also add pictures.Razilber (talk) 22:17, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

April 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Covenant theology, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. StAnselm (talk) 22:08, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I cited my sources. What else do I need to add? Razilber (talk) 22:14, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, you've really only cited Bible verses. But the word "covenant" does not appear in 1 Samuel 1-2. So it looks like you came up with the concept yourself. And a google search confirms this. StAnselm (talk) 22:23, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added two Google links reffering to Hannah's covenant.Razilber (talk) 00:36, 19 April 2010 (UTC) I added a third link. Anything else?Razilber (talk) 00:42, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think that's all there is. Googling "Hannah's covenant" only yields 5 results. StAnselm (talk) 03:19, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I actually found six results on Google. Here is a link to Pope John Paul's speech -->http://www.ewtn.com/library/PAPALDOC/JP960306.HTM where he discusses the importance of the covenant between Hannah and God.Razilber (talk) 15:22, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Hannahic Covenant, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hannahic Covenant. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
