Gram capitalisation[edit]

Hi Rcaspi,

I came here to say the same. If HC Gram was upset (per your edit summaries), he'd have a lot of shouting to do. Here's the Google NGrams search from 1980 on. Some style guides recommend the lowercase for the adjective form (i.e. "gram-negative bacteria" vs. "Gram stain"), others go uppercase all the way. I did a little Googling a few years ago and couldn't find anything on how the difference came about *shrug*. Anyway, I hope you're staying well. Ajpolino (talk) 19:22, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
