Hi,
Any news on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/SourceLink, LLC? The two editors you mentioned haven't replied, and it all seems to be gathering dust. I'd love to help, but there's not much more I can do without input from other editors here - there are some concerns over notability &c and if the article were created as-is I expect it would have a swift journey to AfD.

- Not on my end. After the two guys working on the project did their last edit, they didn't really contact me. I have to admit that I'd sort of put it in the back of mind due to finals, but I haven't heard anything either. I think they might have just given up, to be honest. Firstly i do want to apologise for the storm in which i have created writing about The orphan Killer, I can assure you that i have nothing to do with anyone involved in the production of The orphan killer, I'm a mother of two from london, I'm also a very big fan that has been following the making of this film for some time, i wanted to see what wiki said about this film but sadly there was nothing here so i decided to put all the knowledge i know about the film so other fans could see it too, You are very correct when you said i was very green as i have never used this site before, The festivals which were mentioned all took place this autumn and the award was won in spain, it did make front page news over there, there are some just released horror magazines which have done interviews with the stars of the orphan killer, (scream, girls and corpses) so they would be proof of the existence, You could always visit their facebook page and you will see what i have told you is correct, I do want to thank you though for not instantly deleting this page, yours Twinkle in the eye — Preceding unsigned comment added by Twinkle in the eye (talk • contribs) 21:26, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

How do I create a link to a scanned article?
Hi - I'm trying to get better sources/references for my page submission Articles for creation/Coffee Express Co. I found some clippings as you suggested, but I don't know how to incorporate those into my page. Can you walk me through that? Once I have those links in, I feel like my page should be ready for publishing, because I'm using other pages for similar coffee roasting companies as a template. It's not meant to be blatant advertising, just part of the history of coffee in the US, and Michigan (my home state) which doesn't get a lot of props. Is the fact that the Foundation is listed on the IRS website as a Public Charity in Los Angeles a credible source? I built a bit upon your beginnings. While not pleased that the nominator felt 60 seconds was enough time for the author to complete his article, I am glad you began to flesh the article somehat, and was happy to expand and source it further. It may always be a short article, but I believe it has enough now to remain and serve our readers.. and perhaps even be expanded more in the future... but stubs are not a crime. I have reversed your edits as a) if there is only one article then it does not need to have a disambiguator i.e no need for (novel) and b) by cutting and pasting the material from Dragongirl this has left the history hehind. Fear Street series
You proposed the various volumes of this series for deletion, but that's probably not the optimal way of handling them. Technically, according to WP:NBOOK, the relevant and very inclusive guideline--too inclusive for my taste, actually, but it is the guideline--if the individual volumes have individually been given substantial reviews in reliable third party sources, as is very likely, they justify separate articles. The alternative is to merge the content into the general article for the series. The table there is not efficient for this, since a reasonable amount of individual plot description and publishing detail is appropriate, but they could easily go in as sections. Even if they were not individually notable , this would still be possible , and preferred to delete, and, at the very least, they could be redirected. I'm not going to work on this; I leave it to you whether to add reviews, or to merge, or both. in the meantime, I've removed all the prods. You can of course take this to AfD , but based on my experience here ,a merge conclusion is the most likely result there. (and it would usually be considered wrong to ask for deletion as a group when it is possible that one of more of the books might be more notable than the others--certainly there is a difference in the library holdings.) Gift of the Givers restored
Hi Tokyogirl,
I managed to convince User:Fastily to undelete Gift of the Givers; you might want to take a look at the article as it currently stands.
Before putting a speedy deletion tag onto a page, please check the history - in this case, there had been a factual, non-advertising stub version of the page in the history (mine), but it had been edited by someone who seemed to have a COI. I'll see if I can contact the person somehow to do some education. In general, I'd caution against using the speedy deletion process except in extremely obvious cases. The week or so that it takes to get an AFD through is generally time well spent, because consensus can be built and a better review can take place.

Hi thanks for your help. I am the messenger and all I post is what is provided to me via the director. Wikipedia is an open source for everyone to make edits so we hoped that over time it will be balanced in its representation. Thanks for assisting in speeding up this process, but here are some of our concerns as expressed by the director himself:
"A) the release dates are wrong. A release refers to a commercial release - not a festival screening or an early review. The film was also never released in Canada; it only screened there in 2010 at a festival. The film was also never released in 2008; we didn't even have the music cleared until 2009. It only screened then. And speaking of music, what happened to all of our "censored UK version" and the email excerpts, Wesley Willis info, etc.? Why did you take them out? It's all fact.
B) What's wrong with the way the plot was originally written? and having the awards up there? As well as the technical aspects of the film? You removed a lot of factual content that we believe is pertinent.
C) 2007 is also incorrect - for the proper year associated with the film, refer to IMDB, which states 2010. There's no arguing there, either. Just b/c mistakes were made years ago and some people got advanced rough cut screeners and then wrote about them in 2007 does not mean the film is a 2007 film. It's just bad information on the inter-web, hence my dismissal of two former producers. And TokyoGilrl's own IMDB reference to the film illustrates that the film was indeed a 2010 film, which you, yourself, sited in the reference section. You are contradicting your rationale by making here "corrections". IMDB's info is the go-to on that one.
D) Your quotations may show some negative reception on the film, but it is also unbalanced in its representation. For example, while the review from the Pitch definitely said, " that "the film lags after Rader is sentenced to life in prison without parole and Charlie goes back to his search for a normal life", the writer also follows that up by stating " this is Levitz' first film and it's gained plenty of traction on the film festival circuit, so what do I know?" I would request you to have a look at its website to know more about it. It is India's leading weekly business magazine with the highest circulation and it is present all across India for more than 2 decades. Article on Next What's In
Thank you for your intent to improve the article Next What's In. However, the information is incomplete as 3 major references have been left out giving it an incorrect picture. You can see the references for yourself that was removed in a stroke. All the references are reliable and verifiable. Some of the corrections required in the article are (you can verify from the references too) 1) It is a management cum self-help book and not just a self-help book. 2) The premise of the book is Dissolve the box testing the prevailing Thinking outside the box. The book has 4 parts a) Build up to the concept, b) Concept c) practical Implications in day-to-day life and d) designing the future. Sincerely requesting you to use your experience in improving this article so that it has encyclopedic content as i am a beginner and need to learn to create articles. This has been the reason for so much debate. I think your option is much better as it has a solution and which actually upholds the spirit of wikipedia. Thanks. Silent life deleted by mistake?
Hello, you have contributed in deletion of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Life The reason for the previous deletion was the claim that there are no significance since no publications substantially covers the movie. Since that time very little basic information about the movie altered (that's why the article looks the same), but dozens of publications cover the movie, so there are no reason to delete it. I believe that it was deleted by mistake. But the article was already the object of the activity suspectable for vandalism. Please check some links about the movie to make sure it is covered by media:
