Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:13, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request for rollback[edit]

I've gone through and checked some of your editing patterns, and I must ask, are you sure you need rollback? I don't see a lot of vandal reversions on your part. I'm not an administrator, so whether or not your request is accepted is dependent on whoever responds to your request. All that aside, if you ever feel the need to revert vandalism with speed, it would probably be better for you to take a look at Twinkle, a gadget that can be enabled in your preferences. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kamargoria, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pincode. Your message[edit]

Hello Realmmb. Re your message on my talk page. You said:

"You regarded the page Djair Miranda Garcia as my page which isn't true and I had some personal reasons which made me the first "Page Maker" in my wiki friend society. So that wasn't either my page nor were my points, and those info were collected by me only.".

Well, when you create a page, you are considered responsible for the content you add. I see that you attempted to add a source to Djair Miranda Garcia, which is start. However, it was very poor quality. I have replaced it with two much better sources. I have also changed the infobox for now. It wrongly stated that he was the manager of those clubs. He was not. He was their trainer (and sometimes coach). I think your editing will be helped by reading up on some important guidelines. Maybe start with Wikipedia:Your first article. You might also want to check out Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program where an experienced editor will help you learn the ropes. Nobody feels any "enmity" towards you. We're all trying to help you be a better editor and have a smoother time here. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 18:05, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Voceditenore for that...RealmmbCon.Talk 08:32, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Invite to the African Destubathon[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:23, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016[edit]

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)

Supporting Indian Wikipedia Program resource distribution[edit]

In 2017 - 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India chapter (WMIN) and user groups will pilot a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program (Code name: Project Tiger) will:

(a) Support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and
(b) Sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

The objective of the program is to provide laptops and internet stipends for existing editors who need support to contribute more actively. 50 basic model Acer Chromebooks and Internet stipends for 100 contributors are available for distribution. Provided resources are the sole property of the beneficiaries and should be used for the betterment of the movement.

If you're an active Wikimedian, and interested to receive support from this project, please apply. It will take around 10 minutes of your time, and will ask descriptive questions about your contribution to Indic Wikimedia projects.

Rollback granted[edit]

Hi Realmmb. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Chetsford (talk) 21:15, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Needed info[edit]

Hello, I work as statistician of Indian football here in wiki, provide and create many such Indian related articles. I found that Karuna Bhattacharya article was created by you, where you addedthe following:

  • "..Bhattacharya also was part of several Indians vs. Europeans football matches from 1931 to 1939. During this period, he played against the Europeans in 1932 (5-0), 1933 (2-0), 1935 (5-0), 1937 (1-0), 1938 (0-1), and 1939 (2-2). In this series which was held once a year, Karuna Bhattacharya scored in 1932 (2 goals), 1935 (2 goals), 1939 (1 goal). He also was part of the IFA XI side that went to a Sri Lanka and South Africa tour in 1933 and 1934 respectively. IFA XI won 4 matches at Sri Lanka (3-2, 4-1, 1-0, 2-0) while the other match ended in a 1-1 draw. Out of the 19 games played at South Africa, IFA XI won 18 (6-0, 6-1, 6-1, 2-0, 2-0, 7-1, 9-0, 6-1, 3-1, 4-1, 6-1, 8-1, 1-0, 2-1, 4-1, 2-0, 2-0, 5-0) and lost just 1 match (1-3)...."
