Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

Regarding your removed post at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Miscellaneous[edit]

The reference desk is not for advice. Had you instead asked "what are common options for deciding on a college major?" you might have received the response "Most local technical colleges offer simple two-year "Associate in Arts" and "Associate in Science" degrees that usually transfer to four-year colleges (who will have their own list of what transfers, even if the two-year school will say all credits transfer). The AA and AS degrees are usually cheaper than two years in the four-year college, and result in a safety-net degree in case something happens during the third year or later."

Also, the link to Eureka garnered some suspicion, as they charge money unless you're already getting the service free from your school. Not all sites that Wikipedia mistrusts are bad... But if a site is bad, Wikipedia isn't going to trust it. Ian.thomson (talk) 02:27, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not like to copyvios[edit]

In reference to the link you provided to the film Bwana Devil, as per our WP:copyright policy and the terms of use you agree to every time you edit any page, please do not like to external links violating copyright. The copyright for the film was evidently renewed [1] so it is unlikely the film is the public domain. And any copy of the film made available without necessary permission of the copyright holder would very likely be a copyright violation, at least in the US which is what matters (at a minimum) for wikimedia projects. Hello Rebel Yeh. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Ely Ramos".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Ely Ramos}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:02, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Ely Ramos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced for almost 10 years. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Engr.
