The conservation status in the taxobox of this article is directly referenced to the IUCN Redlist. The Redlist Status at this time is "Critically Endangered", therefore, your edit caused the article to directly contradict the reference given for the status. Please either provide a standard reference for the extinct classification in a widely-accepted assessment comparable to the Redlist, or refrain from changing referenced information in a way that causes it to contradict the references.
