January 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Ola Rapace does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Eric talk 13:09, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Jack Blessing article[edit]

Thank you for your numerous contributions to the article on actor Jack Blessing. I knew him many years ago when we were stationed together while in the Army in the early 70s. I didn't realize that he had made so many television appearances as you have been able to find. Dbart (talk) 16:07, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

George Hill (basketball)[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at George Hill (basketball), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. – Sabbatino (talk) 20:38, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain that to me? George Hill was traded to Cleveland today and I changed the page to that. I didn't edit anything on his page that warrants citing a source. I checked over players page to make sure but it doesn't seem like I did anything wrong. Boomboomya (talk) 02:04, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Changing a player's team needs a source. We add player's new team only after the team itself officially announces the signing or trade. – Sabbatino (talk) 07:21, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
