Explanation of Editing Style and Opinions
[edit]Welcome! Leave a message and I will respond as quickly as is possible. If I have in any way erred in regard to anything, please notify me and I will attempt to do everything within my power to remedy the situation. I will on occasion edit boldly and if, when doing so, I go in any way out of any permissible bounds, I will ask for your understanding and forgiveness. I have been on Wikipedia for nearly seven years but am still learning in some areas; however, if you have been on Wikipedia much longer than I have, I still urge you to treat me (and everyone else) with as much respect as you would other veterans of this site.
I am most knowledgeable about articles pertaining to baseball, hockey, parts of California (on occasion, Yosemite), and suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, but I also often simply make incremental minor edits, cleanup, and copyedits, and in general gnoming. (This has composed an increasingly greater part of my editing activities as of 2018.)
If there is a field in which I edit an article and you have greater knowledge of the subject than I do, please do not hesitate to share that knowledge with me or to correct me using that knowledge in any way. Lastly, if not most importantly, please do not let my username fool you into thinking I will refuse to talk with you if you are a Yankee fan.

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
