Ty Olsson[edit]

A tag has been placed on Ty Olsson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Ty Olsson is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Ty Olsson. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. DVD+ R/W 00:37, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cronus page[edit]

Redbird, I'm a little confused about why Cronus merits his own page when there's plenty of space in the current article for discussion of the character. I don't object to removing the tag (you're effectively contesting, I suppose), but why bother with a separate page. You can reply here. Thanks!--Kchase02 T 04:24, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not Redbird, but looking at his/her contributions, he/she seems to be adding random and not particularly carefully done pages in relation the Class of the Titans TV show without regard for whether the new articles are needed or even notable enough subjects to warrant one. Again, as I'm not him/her, I could be quite wrong about this, but that seems to be his/her pattern of behaviour. Personally, I agree that there is plenty of room in the original article for the show for the same information to be discussed, and in fact, pretty much all of the information on the seperate page is already mentioned in the show's article in greater detail. Xanthophiliac 07:23, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the msg. Since you've already started a relevant discussion at the talk page, I'll defer this to your judgment, Xanthophiliac. Careful of WP:BITE, please. Redbird has less than 50 edits.--Kchase02 T 07:38, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the heads-up about WP:BITE. I do forget sometimes, so the reminder's very helpful. Thanks again. Xanthophiliac 07:49, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Herry page[edit]

As a heads-up, I've added a tag for speedy deletion to Herry (Class of the Titans). First off, if you're going to contest it, please do NOT remove the tag yourself and instead follow the instructions for contesting by explaining reasons for the article on its Talk page. As for why I've added the tag, it's for similar reasons for why the Cronus article is also being disputed -- the policy is that fictional characters should be discussed on the article for the work they originate from (in this case, Class of the Titans), unless the character has enough information to them that it can warrant a seperate article. In this case, everything important about Herry, and even the little details, have already been covered in the main article, so having a seperate article is redundant. Again, if you would like to contest this, please do NOT remove the tag yourself. Use the Talk page instead. Xanthophiliac 07:48, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your "I HATE ALL OF YOU!" vandalism of the Ultimate Wolverine talk page:[1]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Hercules edits[edit]

Your enthusiasm is interesting, but you need to slow down on your edits. You are making many mistakes. Slow down. Make one edit at a time and learn from how other editors respond. Here is an example from just one section you added to Hercules (Marvel Comics). You wrote:

Hera[edit]

Hera enmity towards the Prince of Power had becomed the same as before now that he estranged him self from her daughter Hebe. For this she comtinued to make him fall in love with many mortal woman who grow old and die while he stays young.

Here are some problems with what you wrote:

Fiction is supposed to be reported in present tense in Wikipedia.
Hera's enmity should not appear as Hera enmity. Make the possessive clear.
the Prince of Power Just say Hercules so even people who read only that section will know who you're talking about.
become, not becomed
the same as before Before what?
himself not him self
For this should have a comma after it.
continued with n not comtinued with m
many mortal women plural, not many mortal woman singular. There is no reason to make the word women appear in bold.
The information appears out of context, in a way that does not enhance our understanding of Hercules. Hera's actions toward Hercules can be relevant. Her attitude adds nothing without information on what she is doing.
You provide no source for any of this, so it should not be there at all.

Please take your time, make careful edits, and enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. You appear to have some useful information. Doczilla 07:35, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

February 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Shikamaru Nara. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. No mergers can take place per the injunction coming from this arbitration case. Please desist. Any further efforts to merge the article will be construed as vandalism. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 09:40, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Shikamaru Nara, you will be blocked from editing. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 09:48, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Hebe (Marvel Comics), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Prometheus Academy[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Prometheus Academy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. October 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Gin Ichimaru has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Wayne Olajuwon chat 00:29, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dragon Ball in Popular Culture[edit]

Did they forget to tell you they nominated it for deletion? Rather rude. Anyway, Dragon Ball in Popular Culture is up for deletion now. These articles were once common place in Wikipedia, back in the inclusionist golden age of tolerance and reason, but alas, those times are no more. I have copied the entire article, history and all, to the manga wiki at http://manga.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Ball_in_Popular_Culture so it will be saved from this senseless destruction. You can continue to work on it over there if you think of anything more to add. There are currently 13,626 articles on the manga wiki. Dream Focus 05:24, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Hebe (Marvel Comics) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fail WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
