Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself[edit]

Reema, welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like Facebook or LinkedIn for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

Wikipedia user pages are not like those at social-networking sites. Their use is explained at WP:NOTWEBHOST:

"Wikipedians have their own user pages, but they should be used primarily to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia. Limited biographical information is allowed, but user pages should not function as personal webpages or be repositories for large amounts of material that is irrelevant to collaborating on Wikipedia. If you are looking to make a personal webpage or blog or to post your résumé, please make use of one of the many free providers on the Internet or any hosting included with your Internet account."

You can find out more about Wikipedia at the WP:Welcome page and the WP:Introduction also, you should read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. JohnCD (talk) 17:29, 19 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for using the name of another person as your username and promotion. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 03:11, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you because of this comment where you say that you're not Reema Kumari. Wikipedia has strong rules against impersonation and while you can sign up using your own name, you cannot use another person's name as your username in this manner. I'm also concerned that your main reason for being on Wikipedia is to write an article about Kumari. What's problematic about this is that offhand she doesn't appear to pass notability guidelines per WP:NBIO. It's incredibly difficult for the average person to pass notability guidelines as an adult and it's doubly hard for teenagers or children to pass as they rarely gain the type of coverage in reliable sources required for an article. If you're unblocked you need to do two things:
  1. First is that you need to let us know what your new username would be. You cannot name yourself after another person.
  2. Secondly, you need to let us know how you will edit Wikipedia if/when you are unblocked. One of my requirements for an unblock is that you will stop trying to add Kumari to Wikipedia, so any potential editing needs to be about things other than her.
If you can show that you understand the reasons for your block and promise to do the above, you might be unblocked. However I need to stress that if you are unblocked and you do not change your username and/or you try to re-add Kumari to Wikipedia, the chances of you getting reblocked would be very high. Hello,I am sorry for my miss behavior. Actually, My real name is Reema Kumari. I was adding my autobiography. Now,please unblock me.I will not add any autobiography or violate any wiki rules. Now,I asure you that you have no problem because of me.

Decline reason:

But just a few hours ago, you claimed not to be Reema Kumari. If we can't trust your word, we can't be sure your inappropriate behaviour won't continue. Yamla (talk) 11:09, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello,I am once again sorry for my misbehavior. Now I assure you that I will not violate any of the Wikipedia rules. If I again do that then you con again block me.My real name is Reema Kumari. I am not using any fake name.I will email my identity proof. So,please unblock my account. From Reema Kumari 13:20, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

If you are not Reema Kumari then your are impersonating and thus must be blocked. If you are Reema Kumari then you are using deception to introduce a bias into our articles.

You say "I like to tell You that this is not my biography. This is of a famous and inspirational girl of siwan district of bihar. Her article must be here as she would be an example for those children who have talents but they belong from poor or middle class family."(emphasis added) about yourself. We strive to be neutral. When people hide their association with the subject and seek to edit that subject in a non-neutral fashion it is disruptive to our goal of neutrality. Speedy deletion nomination of E.A.Abraham[edit]

Hello Reema Kumari (25),

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged E.A.Abraham for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. My Pants Metal (talk) 11:35, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Reema Kumari (25). It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Adarsh Commercial Institute".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion.
