YTMND Article

[edit]

Welcome

Hello Refault, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, some of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a great page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  -Mysekurity [m!] 21:47, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

The YTMND article edit was initiated by me and further added to by Dr. Ke, I was simply trying to provide a view from both "sides" of the YTMND user/admin base. I am sorry if the post was not following the NPOV, but then again the majority of the article is far from having a neutral point of view (look at the many controversial sections such as Criticism and Viewhacking.) --Refault 21:54, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Believe me, I know how bad the POV of the article is. I edited it for POV, clarity, and all that beautiful stuff a couple months back, and the next thing I knew it was back to the same shithole it was before. I'm not trying to single you out merely for that, just that there was a discussion on the talk page about it, and I thought I'd warn you. There are tons of YTMNDers coming over and depositing their individual feces on the article, and it would be great if you were amongst the ones helping to clean it up, rather than adding more. I believe the article survived 2 deletion processes, and it could really stand to have a couple references and some nice writing. If you could help, that would be very much appreciated. -Mysekurity [m!] 22:11, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

soulseek

[edit]

Hiya. Ive just created a new (and better, imo) userbox for soulseek and i thought is share it. you can look at it here. this new box allows you to share your soulseek username in the box itself. also, it adds your userpage to a category called "soulseek users". if you dont like the box but you want to be in the catergory just add [[Category: Soulseek users]]. anyhoo, just thought id let you know. -(chubbstar)talk | contrib | 06:16, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
