Weight training

[edit]

The reason there's pictures of the woman is because she's doing weight training exercises. She was kind enough to pose for pictures demonstrating the movements, then upload them under the GFDL license. Unless you've got alternative pictures, they're appropriate the page and should stay up. (from my talk page) so your saying i could take pictures of me in the gym of those routines and then upload them under gdfl and put them on the article?--Rekatj2 02:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Wikidudeman (talk) 02:05, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Echoing Wikidudeman, yes. However, the pictures are still subject to common sense - if your pictures are better, they'll stay. If the pre-existing picture is better, it goes back. Best is if you upload to Wikimedia Commons so it can be used by all the wikipedias. See WP:IMAGE for more info. Where do you think all the images come from? :) WLU 02:19, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well i dont feel like going throug the process when there is a chance they get removed.--Rekatj2 13:02, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As you like. You'll have to read WP:IMAGE for more guidance on this topic. WLU 13:07, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Protected page

[edit]

I'm not an admin, you're going to have to do some digging to find one and ask them, or wait until the page is unprotected. From what I understand, each page protection has an expiry date so it should come up some time in the future. If you go over to the administrator's notice board, you should be able to find an admin fairly easily by looking through the talk pages. WLU 13:16, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Go ahead and try this template: {{editprotect}}. It might take a while, but it's the formal way of doing something. If, after you've posted something, and a few days go by, you can probably say something at WP:AN. Hope this helps. The Evil Spartan 16:29, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
