Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Many-worlds interpretation has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.hamnamtataqm.bravehost.com/testbk2bkp.htm (matching the regex rule \bbravehost\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. 1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Many-worlds interpretation do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. --Michael C. Price talk 22:51, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I have been experiencing a number of problems keeping an external link up on Wikipedia's Many Worlds Interpretation article.I would appreciate some help. This may not be precisely the forum but I don't have 100 years to wade through your truly voluminous and confusing guidelines. (I have never ever seen any guidelines as capable of making it impossible to see the forest for the trees.)

First, another external link contributor keeps bouncing my link out.

Another external link author to the same article has been deleting my external link I have tried to find out what his objections are and have become convinced he is being disingenuous. Of course it is a conflict of interest for him to be booting my external link in the first place. Secondly he never has any really substantive justifications - - just merely alleges vague stylistic shortcomings. What should I do to get this type of editor off my back. I have got better uses for my time than trying to reason with a brick wall or having to continually reedit my external link back in to Wikipedia.

As if the above problem were not enough, my external link is also being bounced off by one or more robotic editors. These always are accompanied by an exhortation to undo their edit if a mistake has been made.So that is what I have been doing. No robotic editor has the slightest ability to determine the scientific merits of my external link as they search basically for some small assortment of "illegal" words or phrases. Now how can I find out what precisely is objectionable about my external link as far as these robotic editors are concerned? For example, do they key on the fact that my external link is a web based article hosted by an internet company that runs a very small advertising flyer across the top of my 9 page article in exchange for hosting it for free? Is that by itself objectionable to Wikipedia? Or has somebody been given the green light to delete via robot editor any reference in Wikipedia to my webpage

Apart from the stylistic shortcomings, which are severe, IMO, I have offered a couple of substantive objections as well. To recap:
  1. the point of the essay is obscure (although this may be a stylistic problem). Is it trying to say that "here is a method of calculating the wavefunction"? If so then say that more clearly. If not, then just what is it trying to say?
  2. It seems to have no bearing on many-worlds, which is about the reality of the wavefunction, not about how to calculate it.

stop Please stop adding a link to your website. See WP:SELFPUBLISH --NeilN talk to me 03:51, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Many-worlds interpretation, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
