If I wanted to progress in the community how would I go about doing so? --Eplemonsqueezy (talk) 13:01, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Eplemonsqueezy: Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I would suggest you read User access levels. You can progress in the community by proving yourself to be a valuable and helpful editor. can you adopt me? TheSmartWikiOne (talk) 16:35, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@TheSmartWikiOne: Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! It is very nice that you are curious and willing to learn how to edit Wikipedia. However, I don't think that I can adopt you yet. I plan to wait for a while to gain even more experience, and I would like to set up a "school" of sorts. But right now I think that you need to carefully read the comments left to you on your user talk page. Before you're adopted by anyone, you still need to have a basic understanding of Wikipedia. Cheers Relativity ⚡️ 16:31, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
okay why is it so DARK TheSmartWikiOne (talk) 16:39, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:51, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
