More money to the jackpot[edit]

Yes, certainly. Danny (talk) 00:32, 27 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

The Last Judgment (Michelangelo) progress[edit]

Hi - just wanted to say that I'm still working on stitching this together. It's a very tedious process and I've been working on other things lately. I've been working on it off and on. I'm about 60% or so done at the moment, but I'm planning on completing it (sometime anyway!). Just wanted to give a heads-up. FranksValli (talk) 06:02, 29 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hanukkah[edit]

Kudos for correcting the results of my brain fart. I was doing something else entirely, and not online, when I realized the error in my thinking. So I opened the article and saw that it had already been corrected. Sorry you had to pick up after me. Thanks!PurpleChez 20:45, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Really? I just clicked on "your" link on the history page. I shall dig deeper. PurpleChez 20:56, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Anthroponymy[edit]

Hello. I just joined the Anthroponymy project; my first Wikiproject. I'm excited to be a part of a wiki group. I started some edits a few minutes ago, and encountered a problem (see Bot entry on my Talk page). Could you review my entry on the Anthroponymy Talk page, review what I did on Woodson, and review what I did on Woodson (surname)? Then give me feedback? Thank you. Rosiestephenson (talk) 23:03, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Thanks for your fast response. Appreciate it. Rosiestephenson (talk) 23:12, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-admin list[edit]

Hi Remember, I just moved you up the list to the 7500+ bracket at WP:NA. We seem to be keeping pace with each other! - Fayenatic (talk) 22:30, 6 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hanukkah footer[edit]

Take a look at my comments here Nice work on the footer. --Steven J. Anderson (talk) 03:29, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have serious problems with part of the footer, which I understand you have proferred in good faith, so I hope you will see my points equally in good faith. I would welcome your comments at talk wpj, and I will now take a couple of deep breaths and chill about it. Kaisershatner (talk) 15:55, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, first of all THANKS SO MUCH for your changes, and again for making a footer at all. I found it immensely painful to see that Ch. Harry thing there and I really appreciate your willingness to collaborate. I'm only sorry I hadn't been around when you were putting it together, I could have spoken about it with you beforehand. Also, I wanted to leave you a personal note just to stress you shouldn't take this personally, in case you are. I know my decibel level is pretty high; in RL I am your basic average everyday guy, I'm not even that religious and certainly not compared with most of the orthodox users at WPJ, but this issue really pushes my buttons. I looked at the Chrismukkah article and followed it to USA Today - where the OC creator says "They get all the good songs, the tree, Frosty and Rudolph. We get dreidels. It's not the same," this is the root of the whole sorry mess. It isn't supposed to be the same. That view, and the IMO misguided celebrating of Chrismukkah that follows, is symptomatic of just how badly the Jewish community is doing at educating our own kids about the wonderful and positive things about being different. I don't want us to potentiate that here if we can avoid it. Anyway, from 4+ years here I know how it can feel to have your work shredded and/or abandoned (I have a huge template on the Carolingian Kings that after a few hundred edits was basically killed as nonviable), and I wanted to stress, repeatedly, that it is clear you are trying to make the article and encyclopedia better. As am I. Hopefully, we can stress what we have in common (an interest in Jewish topics?) and get over what divides us. Best, Kaisershatner (talk) 15:07, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your note. BTW "drown to death" in your sandbox is redundant, I think. Kaisershatner (talk) 15:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Normally, I would agree that drown to death would be redundant, but on the waterboarding page there has been a lot of discussion of whether victims actual drowning so I felt it would be less contentious this way.

Jennifer[edit]

Hi, are you watching Jennifer? Same here! I was going to leave that Jennifer in, as she has an eponymous show, see the blue link KDKA-TV#Notable_alumni. The name was redlinked with no explanation by an anon yesterday, so I thought a new article on her might be forthcoming. As for the list of names, I thought it was fine when the name was black and the KDKA link was blue. Maybe I'll put the show on the disam page instead. I don't know why I'm taking your time on this really! - Fayenatic (talk) 14:45, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Pirates image[edit]

Hey. Thanks for adding in the image, I didn't know how when I changed the layout (it used to be on the right side of the page). I have one request though that I thought I would ask you since you added it in. Would it be okay with you if it was changed to Image:Flag_of_Edward_England.svg? (Sorry I don't know how to link an image) On the old layout, that's the flag that it had. Deflagro C/T 21:15, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok with me. And it is changed. Remember (talk) 21:39, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! So are you interested in Pirates or just help out with Infoboxes? (by the way, can you reply on my talk page? I usually forget to check other peoples) Deflagro C/T 22:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh. Well I was gonna ask if you would like to join the Wikiproject, but I guess not since it's just mainly infoboxes. And I think the only people who don't like pirates are those who are jealouse they can't be one! Deflagro C/T 23:22, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Strike for clarity[edit]

Yes, it's fine. Badagnani (talk) 00:10, 14 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Barnstar[edit]

Thank you... Still, my first thought was: if I earned one myself, Lawrence Cohen must have earned at least three. Which gave me an idea... :) GregorB (talk) 21:00, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you as well. I'm honoured! GregorB voiced my thoughts exactly... I think Lawrence Cohen is really the one to credit for resolving that dispute. —Ka-Ping Yee (talk) 02:16, 18 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Surname article tagged for speedy deletion[edit]

Hello, Remember; help. Please see Fitzmorris, a surname article I was working on, which just got tagged for speedy deletion. I don't understand why it, of all name articles, would be singled out. Any support for keeping the article by commenting on the Fitzmorris Talk page would be appreciated. Thank you. Rosiestephenson (talk) 06:46, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Issue resolved. Article was spared deletion. Rosiestephenson (talk) 15:59, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
