Note

Tyler, if you are reading this page, just know that I am ready to take our dispute to the Mediation Cabal after my block. Bushcarrot Talk Please Sign! Let's go Lightning! 20:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Have fun getting ahold of me because I'll be working all week. -walks away laughing- † Tyler † (talk/contribs) 16:22, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for personal attack at [1]. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

I don't want this to turn into ammunition in whatever you and Tyler Warren have against each other, and I'm going to investigate more fully to see who's been doing what. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 20:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Don't worry, Elkman. I won't do these:
  1. request unblock for this particular block, as I clearly fucked up somehow.
  2. create sockpuppets.

However, if Tyler harasses me more after this block, I will take it to MedCab and/or ArbCom, as I felt my actions were right, considering the circumstances. Bushcarrot Talk Please Sign! Let's go Lightning! 20:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

I've done a little bit more research on the circumstances of this block and the reporting at WP:AIV. While your message to Tyler Warren was indeed an attack, I think I read too much into this AIV report saying that you had vandalized past a final warning. In fact, he probably shouldn't have given you an "only warning" based on your angry message to him. I interpreted this removal and this removal from AIV as vandalism too.

Here's my advice:

  • I think you already know that your sockpuppet report of Summerluvin (talk · contribs) was wrong. You apologized on October 6, and I think that should be sufficient.
  • Try to stay cool when the editing gets hot. I know it can be difficult to do, especially when people get under your skin.
  • If someone reports you at WP:AIV, don't revert the report -- instead, post your own followup or something like, "This user is in a dispute with me and is attempting to use this report to harass me."
  • Some people are using Wikipedia as a social network. That's what MySpace and Facebook are for. You aren't guilty of this, but others are.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to talk to me or any other admin. In fact, asking on one of the admin noticeboards is better since you'll get more than one opinion.

--Elkman (Elkspeak) 23:06, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

sorry

no you didn't offend me, but when i went to say something to you later you blocked me so i figured you still thought i was a sock puppet then you were mean to tyler when he was defending me so i took his side, you made a fuss and then dissapeared after so i thought that was funny. SORRY. --Summerluvin 02:53, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
