Removing AfD template[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Galaxy (Hidden social network). Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot I NotifyOnline 12:21, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user subpage at User:Alphaslucas may not be appropriate to be indexed by external search engines as presently written. Typically, this could be because it appears promotional, or contains material in development or archived that doesn't yet meet policies and guidelines. I have tagged this page as __NOINDEX__, which allows editing but minimizes the page's inclusion in search engine results.

If you believe that your userpage does not violate our guidelines, please leave a note here and we can discuss it. As an alternative, you may add {{db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, you can change the page so that it more clearly meets Wikipedia guidelines, or you can edit it as normal and ignore the tag completely (it will not affect editing).

However, please do not remove the tag without discussion.

redirects from articlespace to userspace are not allowed. Crownex and other content fail WP:WEBHOST. Asking for page protection on your userpage while hosting all this is disruptive.

Free Haven[edit]

If you're interested to do some work on a Tor-related article, Free Haven was also just nominated for deletion. I've been working on it such that it might be ok as it stands at the moment, but additional reliable secondary sources would help if you know where to find any.

Gamergate controversy[edit]

Please discuss your issues on the talk page; the article is well-sourced, it's been agreed that we should avoid cluttering the lede with cites and that they've left their homes is well-sourced and verifiable. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 05:38, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Then why is it biased, NorthBySouthBaranof? <redacted>

Please read this notification carefully:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the Gamergate controversy.
The details of these sanctions are described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
