Information icon Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Toronto Fire Services, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mr. Pegg,

Thank you for your message on my talk page.

One of the cornerstone policies on Wikipedia is its neutrality and verifiability. For this reason, editors cannot have a personal or professional connection to the articles they edit. As well, all information added must be supported by a reliable independent source.

While your edits are very much appreciated, Wikipedia's very strict conflict of interest policies prevent you from editing the actual article, and you must declare your conflict.

In the next few days I will look around for a source to support your edits, and will personally update the article. I've kept my eye on that article for a while, and many of the photos were added by me.

Because Wikipedia is an Eden free of vandals and charlatans, I will trust that you are in fact the Chief of Toronto Fire Services. It's a pleasure to meet you, and you have much to be proud of. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:37, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
