Yasni[edit]

Ok,IF you landed here,as a result of my posting on the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Yasni,then you are probably looking to my rationale behind my posting.

One of Wikipedia's aims are that [it] is supposed to be 'Neutral', when a point of view is presented. This results in opposing views to have what are the equivalent of Newsgroup 'Flame-Wars'. Fortunately, I have not read news reports or heard (If any) persons died as a result of a 'Newsgroup Flame War'. In the Wikipedia world this is partly initiated with 'Speedy Deletion', and other editing tools to suppress the distribution of information. I am not advocating the elimination of editing tools; on the contrary side, I am suggesting thoughtful editing is what is needed, and supported by the tools of Wiki-Media.

In Yasni's case, I subscribe to the free service , entitled "Web-of-Trust", but do not emphatically accept every website to be negative, when WOT gives it a thumbs down. Being aware is much more advisable than being a sheep, and accepting the status quo.

So yes, maybe there are some elements of the Yasni Search tool, that you personally find offensive, that does not mean that anyone has the 'right', and i use the word lower-cased, to say what I can,or should not be able to view(In Text format, with Community Standards in mind] on the Internet with tools such as Wiki Media, and specifically the en version.

IF you think Yasni is bad, then flag it, and don't use it. Just don't try to impose your moral rectitude on my beliefs. -RR ResponsibleRichard (talk) 03:34, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
