August 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Evan Davis has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://www.myspace.com/freakjuice/) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! AfD nomination of Sofia Mendez[edit]

An editor has nominated Sofia Mendez, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sofia Mendez and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 13:52, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Flagging Evan Davis (actor) for further review[edit]

Hello, Retrojew89 … I recently encountered the article about Evan Davis (actor) and in my opinion, it either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it violates a copyright.

I am considering tagging Evan Davis (actor) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for deletion according to the Deletion policy … I do not have time to examine the article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

I have created this initial entry on your Talk page because you are either the original author of the article, or else a recent contributor to it; I will leave more detailed information regarding my specific concerns about the article on its Discussion page … please respond either there or on this Talk page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation.

Be sure to read Ownership of articles, and remember that Some Other Editors (including at least one administrator) may not share your opinion about the notability of the article's subject.

I do not mean to imply that your contribution is unappreciated … perhaps you should read Your first article … and remember, there was a time when I knew less about how Wikipedia works than you know right now, and I am always available to help you become a more proactive contributor.

To better understand why I have used this template, please read Flag templates for deletion warnings ... I realize that some of the expressed possible concerns may not be appropriate in this case. — 72.75.91.179 (talk) 19:40, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am willing to fix the article and I have proof that Evan Davis (actor) exits. I am that person, and believe I have enough merit to be on Wikipedia. I am willing to provide you the correct information. How can I make the article better? Retrojew89 (talk) 19:45, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is nothing that you can do ... by your own admission, you have violated WP:COI and WP:AUTOBIO. — 72.75.91.179 (talk) 19:57, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Evan Davis (actor), did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Removal of Content at Afd[edit]

Please do not remove other people's contributions from AfD discussions again. It is disruptive and a form of vandalism. The proper thing to do is discuss the merits/flaws of the article in question in accordance with out policies and guidlines on the subject which you can find linked in the welcome message below. Thanks. Jasynnash2 (talk) 13:13, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Work In Progress - Sandbox2[edit]

Hi. You were "hosting" an article on your main userpage which I believe is against one of the many policy/guidelines here (although I may be wrong). The information isn't gone and I have simply moved it to here for you to work on as appropriate. Hope you find this helpful. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll do what I can to be helpful. Jasynnash2 (talk) 08:29, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
